Engage Des Plaines!

The University of Illinois of Chicago has received a grant to discover how, in an increasingly digital age, Des Plaines residents use a variety of information sources. What are their questions? How do they find answers? How do they participate in community life and share their knowledge and opinions? The Des Plaines Public Library has partnered with UIC to host public forums and focus groups, and we invite library users and non-users to discuss how the community can evaluate and make the best use of a sometimes overwhelming outpouring of information.
